Food waste registration service
We are asking residents who don’t currently use the food waste service to sign up online to start receiving FREE food waste (brown) bin collections. The food waste (brown) bin is collected weekly.
By signing up to recycle food waste you will help turn unwanted food waste and scraps into fertiliser and help us to reduce our carbon footprint because we only need to travel to the households who use the service, giving a big boost to our green credentials.
If you're not currently using your food waste bin, please sign up to start receiving collections by filling in the form.
If you have your food waste (brown) bin which was delivered to you in 2018, please use this bin for your food waste recycling. If you have lost or damaged your food waste (brown) bin - you can apply for a new bin here
NOTE: Due to unprecedented demand, we are currently unable to supply new food waste (brown) bins immediately. Please continue to register for the service, and we will deliver the food waste bin as soon as possible. If you have your original food waste bin, please let us know when you register for food waste.
