Every Child Needs a Mentor
This is a 6 week project of mentoring to support educational, academic and emotional needs in young people. The project offers mentoring to young people through the issue they are facing with support for parents and carers too. COG/Family Support Hubs
Every town in Sandwell has a local hub that can support families who need a bit of advice, support and help at times. It is like a one stop shop for advice on a whole range of things. You can self refer for help with a wide range of issues like housing support, childcare, health, benefits etc and they can allocate a worker to look at the help you need to ensure the right service is then sought to help you. Their  support is voluntary and the idea is to help early on before things get out of hand with a family support worker who works with you to resolve the issues you may be facing.
