How to Report Issues
If you have a problem with fireworks, report it to the right agency:
- Illegal use of fireworks (e.g. during night hours, in the street, or by under-18s) à Report to West Midlands Police via 101 or online
- Unsafe Fireworks (e.g. non-compliant labelling) Report to Trading Standards
- Under Age Sales of Fireworks (e.g. selling to children under 18) Report to Trading Standards
- Un-licenced/Un-registered Sales of Fireworks (e.g. do not have permission to store, selling outside of permitted times) Report to West Midlands Fire Service
- Noise nuisance from fireworks (e.g. persistent loud displays) Report to Environmental Health
- Health and safety concerns regarding a bonfire or firework display on a business premises (e.g complaint about an unsafe fireworks display at a pub) Report to Environmental Health
When reporting, include dates, times, locations and details of the nuisance to help agencies respond effectively. Reporting concerns helps us and our partners take action and protect residents and animals.
