Sandwell Council is inviting applications from local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations interested in managing and developing Hill Top Community Centre, Hill Top, West Bromwich, B70 0RZ
We are seeking an organisation with the passion, capability and experience to help this valued community asset thrive.
Who should apply
We would like to hear from established community‑based organisations that can demonstrate:
- A strong track record in delivering community services and activities
- Experience in managing community buildings or similar facilities
- The ability to attract external resources and secure funding to support the centre’s development
- A commitment to ensuring the centre benefits a wide range of local residents
- Good governance, financial stability, and robust policies and procedures
What we are looking for
The successful organisation will:
- Operate the centre on behalf of the Council
- Develop a vibrant programme of community activities and services
- Maximise use of the building through lettings and community hire
- Work in partnership with local residents, Council services and wider stakeholders
- Ensure the centre is financially sustainable over time
