To apply for a secondary school place starting September 2027 your child's date of birth must fall between 01 September 2015 and 31 August 2016
The application process is open from Monday 13 July 2026 - Saturday 31 October 2026. Any applications received after this date will be classed as a late application.
National Offer Day is Monday 01 March 2027.
If you have applied online via the Parent Portal you will receive an email on the day and you will then be able to log on to the Parent Portal to see the offer of a school place.
If you applied using a paper application or submitted an electronic application through email a letter will be posted on Monday 01 March by second class post. Please give up to 7-10 working days for this to arrive.

If you have not already applied for a place for your child to start secondary school in September 2026, you need to complete a late application form.
You can only apply for a place to start secondary school in 2026 if your child's date of birth falls between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015.
