Confirmed uplifts and rates/fees for 2021/22
Sandwell Council has confirmed its uplifts, rates and fees in relation to the following support types for 2021/22.
Residential
Increases from £455.90 per week 20/21 to £487.48 from 1 April 2022
Dementia Residential
Increases from £513.10 per week 20/21 to £548.59 from 1 April 2022
Nursing
Increases from £633.90* per week 20/21 to £687.36* from 1 April 2022
*Includes FNC Contributions
Dementia Nursing
Increases from £641.88* per week 20/21 to £694.79* from 1 April 2022

Enhanced Assessment Beds
Residential EAB rate increases from £564.35 per week 19/20 to £589.69 per week 20/21
Nursing EAB rate increases from £715.00 per week 19/20 to £742.17 per week 20/21
Home Care / Domiciliary Care
Sandwell Councils Framework Homecare / Domiciliary Care rate increases from £14.30 per hour in 19/20 to £14.92 per hour for 20/21.
Direct Payment Rate
Sandwell Council's Direct Payment rate increases from £13.92 per hour in 19/20 to £14.30 per hour for 20/21
