Why collections may be delayed or suspended?
Severe weather such as snow or black ice can impact collections and cause the service to be delayed or suspended. Where possible crews will complete collections on roads that are accessible.
The safety of our crews and residents is our top priority, particularly given the size of refuse vehicles and the risks posed by icy and unsafe road conditions.
