The Virtual House shows examples of equipment that may help with daily living. It gives ideas, but it does not mean Sandwell Council will provide these items.
Some equipment should only be used after a professional assessment to make sure it is safe and right for your needs.
If you choose to buy equipment yourself:
- Sandwell Council cannot pay you back for anything you buy.
- Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, including weight limits and safety advice.
- Make sure the equipment is right for your needs.
- If you are not sure, ask for advice before buying anything.
