Street food pitches available in West Bromwich town centre

We're looking for unique and unusual street food vendors to sell at Princess Parade in West Bromwich. It's one of the busiest areas of the town on the walkway between Kings Square and Queens Square. This area and the wider town centre is currently undergoing major improvements under the Urban Greening Project.

We'd like to hear from businesses selling foods including (but not limited to) pizzas, barbecue food and exotic dishes. If this describes your business, read on for details and contact the Markets Service if you are interested.

Trading hours

Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, though we may consider some evening hours or seven day a week trading.

Setting up and access arrangements

Access from West Bromwich High Street is restricted between 9am and 5pm. You would need to set up before 9am and take down your pitch after 5pm.

Electricity is not supplied. Any use of a generator will need to have a full risk assessment in line with the relevant Markets Service policy. All gas appliances will also need a full risk assessment and full safety certification.

Parking

A parking permit will be supplied enabling traders to park with market traders next to the former multi-storey car park site.

Costs

The cost of a Street Trading Consent for trading Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm in this location is around £30 per day (£8,656.94 a year) which is invoiced and payable monthly. Trading will be subject to all standard Street Trading Terms and Conditions, copies of which are available upon request from the Markets Service.
