Sandwell Register Office
Due to the current situation with Coronavirus we are now operating an appointment only service. To make an appointment or request a certificate, please do it online using the options below.
Due to the refurbishment of the Register Office reception area there will be no access to toilet facilities until the work is completed on 28 August 2020. We have a temporary entrance to the side of the building and would ask that you attend your appointment promptly at the agreed time.
Please also wear a face covering when attending for your appointment. Thank you for your support and patience during this time. Death registrations are now operating via telephone.
Please note that all certificates will be posted out and can no longer be collected from the Register Office. Until further notice, online bookings for citizenship ceremonies are unavailable, please contact 0121 368 1188.
Sandwell's Register Office is based in the beautiful Grade II listed Highfields House in High Street, West Bromwich - a five minute walk from West Brom town centre.
The Sandwell Suite can hold up to 85 guests. Our smaller ceremony room caters for up to 16 people (including the happy couple).
We can provide copies of birth, death and marriage certificates if the event took place in Sandwell (or what is now Sandwell).
