Smethwick area action plan

The Smethwick Area Action Plan (AAP) will provide a land use framework to guide development in a specific part of Smethwick.

The Smethwick Area Action Plan was adopted on 2nd December 2008.

The Smethwick Area Action Plan (AAP) sets out the policy framework for addressing a transformational change in land use which will deliver sustainable environments in the North Smethwick area. It contains proposals for specific sites for the provision of good quality housing and appropriate employment land.  It also promotes more sustainable modes and the protection of the historic environment.  The Plan has a monitoring and implementation framework with clear objectives for achieveing its delivery.
