There are several easy ways to pay your rent.
Paying by Direct Debit
Direct Debit is the safest and easiest way to pay your rent.
With a Direct Debit you tell your bank or building society that you want us to take your monthly rent payments direct from your account. There is more information about the benefits of Direct Debit here.
To set up a Direct Debit online you need to be registered for a MySandwell account, if you don’t have a MySandwell account you can register here.
Once you have registered, go into 'My Accounts', validate your rent account and you will be able to set up a Direct Debit.
Alternatively you can set up a Direct Debit by calling us on 0121 368 1166. You'll need your account name, personal bank account number and sort code.
Changes to an existing Direct Debit
If you already have a Direct Debit set up and you want to change the date of collection to either the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 26th or 28th monthly, or to a weekly or 4 weekly (Friday only) collection, please email rent_accounting@sandwell.gov.uk with your name, address, rent account number and state the new date or frequency you would like.
If you need to update your bank account details you will need to submit a new Direct Debit form, this will overwrite your existing instruction to your bank. To make the changes online, you need to be registered for a MySandwell account, if you don’t have a MySandwell account you can register here.
Once you have registered, go into 'My Accounts', validate your rent account and you will be able to set up a Direct Debit.

Paying online
If you prefer you can pay your rent on the web with your Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Visa Delta, Visa Electron or Maestro cards.
View your rent balance
You can check the balance on your rent account before you pay.
