Important notice

The date shown for representation against each entry is the date by which a responsible authority or any other person may make representations in respect of the application.

Representations, which must be about the impact of the grant upon the licensing objectives, must be made in writing.

It is an offence, liable on summary conviction to a fine up to Level 5 (unlimited) on the standard scale, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with the application.

Licensing Act 2003 application to review a current premises licence

Licensing Act 2003 -Full Review Hearing - Bulls Head Sports Bar, Birchfield Lane, Oldbury, B69 1AQ

An application for a summary review has been made by a senior police officer of West Midlands Police in their opinion the premises are associated with serious crime and serious disorder or both.

 On 1st March 2026, West Midlands Police were contacted by West Midlands Ambulance about a report of a person stabbed in the chest at the named premises. A further report was received of a second person stabbing victim nearby. Officers were deployed to the scene and found the second injured person. Officers have confirmed this person was also at the public house previously. As a result, of the incident, officers crimed two section 18 wounding within intent under the offences against the Person Act 1861.

The holder of the Premises Licence, other persons and Responsible Authorities may make representations in respect of the review to the Licensing Authority.

A full variation application has been made by Co-operative Group Food Limited, the current licence holder of Co-op, to allow the following.

The application is to extend the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises:

From Mon - Sun 0600-2300 to Mon-Sun 0000 – 2400 (24 hours).

The store will close to the public at 2300 Mon - Sun and re-open the following day.

All sales when the store is closed to the public i.e. 2300 to 0600 will be for on-line delivery only.

All non-mandatory conditions will be removed and replaced with more robust schedule of conditions after discussions with the Police.
