Sandwell Council is required to produce a domestic abuse safe accommodation strategy as part of the requirements of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
Sandwell’s draft domestic abuse safe accommodation strategy 2021-24 has been informed by a robust needs assessment which included a wide range of data as well as feedback from victims-survivors and other stakeholders. The Strategy outlines the issues to be addressed and the actions that will be taken to ensure that victims of domestic abuse and their children have access to specialist support in safe accommodation.
The final version of this strategy will be published by 5 January 2022.
