Business rates are payable in ten monthly instalments normally starting on 1 April each year or, in the case of Direct Debit payments 15 April. We can arrange for you to make payments over twelve months if you contact us.

You can pay your business rates in a number of ways:

Pay by Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the safest and easiest way to pay your business rates. You can easily set one up online now, you can also use the online form to make changes to your existing Direct Debit.

Please note that we expect all of your instalments to be paid up to date at the time you complete this form. If any payments are outstanding you may receive a revised bill or further recovery action may be taken.

Other ways of paying

Pay online

You can pay your business rates online - just enter your business rates reference number and the amount you wish to pay.

Pay by BACS

To pay by BACS please quote your business rate account number, sort code 60-15-39 bank account number 69624178 using Sandwell M.B.C. as the account name.

Pay by credit or debit card

To pay by credit card or debit card please call our telephone payment line 0300 456 0514.

Pay in person

You can pay by cash, cheque, credit or debit card at your Local Post Office making cheques payable to Post Office Counters Ltd. You can also pay at your local Paypoint outlet by cash or card. Please make sure you have your Business Rates bill with you.
