Consulting on the council's budget for 2026/27
We consulted with groups across Sandwell to make sure we are listening to the views of as many people as possible.
We talked to more than 2,500 people about the challenges the council faces and gave them the opportunity to tell us what they think about our proposals.
The included talking to 1,000 residents face-to-face, and we also talked to local businesses, voluntary sector groups, partner organisations and trade unions. Our young people, including care leavers, have also been involved in setting this year’s budget by telling us the decisions they would make and what matters to them.
