Memorials provide a lasting tribute for a loved one. There are many different types of headstone or memorial you can chose to have placed at cemeteries and crematoria in Sandwell. We offer a one-to-one consultation with a Memorial Advisor who can help you choose a memorial and provide bespoke costings. Appointments are available on weekdays and on Saturday mornings. Please contact us for more information.

There is an individual book room located at both crematoria along with an electronic book.  Alternatively, you can view the Book of Remembrance online:

Memorial renewals

If you have an existing memorial in a crematorium that you would like to renew, you can do so online using your My Sandwell account. Please ensure you have received a letter notifying you that the memorial is due for renewal, as we will require the memorial ID number provided on the letter.

Alternatively please contact us.

Cemetery memorials

If you would like to purchase a memorial or grave stone to be place in one of our cemeteries, you will need to contact a licensed memorial mason.

Memorial Masons are required to be licensed with either the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons or the National Association of Memorial Masons.

Each of our cemeteries have different memorial sizes that are permitted. A Memorial Mason will be able to guide you through the different designs and options available.

Cremated remains (also called "ashes") can be buried in some of our cemeteries in memorials called Cemetery Sanctums.

If you would like to purchase a Cemetery Sanctum you will need to contact our Memorial Advisors on 0121 569 6791 or 0121 569 6793.
