A new extra care housing scheme in Rowley Regis

Willow Gardens is a new extra care housing scheme that is being developed by Sandwell Council.

It is a specialist built new scheme that offers a mixture of one and two-bedroom apartments, with with 24hr support onsite and care services available that are tailored to individual needs.

Who is Willow Gardens for?

Sandwell residents over the age of 55 can apply for a tenancy at Willow Gardens. Individuals who requires care and support will be given priority when allocating apartments on the development.

What is available at Willow Gardens?

There are 90 self contained apartments on site, consisting of 23 with two bedrooms and 67 with one bedroom, including 5 which are fully wheelchair compliant.

Each self-contained apartment has it's own intercom entry system and emergency pull cord alarm, fitted kitchen and bathroom. There is also lift access to all parts of the building.

How much will it cost to live there?

Rents for the apartments will be set at the current market value. There will also be a range of service charges that will cover general maintenance costs and communal facility upkeep.
