Joining the Housing Register
If you want to rent a council home, you must join the housing register first.
- You must be 18 or older (or 16/17 in special cases) and living legally in the UK.
- There are rules about who can apply and you must check you are eligible. You can do this by visiting the council website and searching within the housing section.
