Positive feedback
The CQC heard positive feedback from people who use services and their families. Inspectors highlighted:
- The development of a Carers Hub, co-produced with people who have lived experience, to improve support for unpaid carers
- Consistently positive feedback about the 12-week pathway for people with learning disabilities and/or autism, which helps people build confidence and connect with community activities
- Residents feeling involved in decisions about their care and support
Adult Social Care at Sandwell Council supports more than 4,500 residents, working to deliver the vision of providing the right support, at the right time and in the right place, enabling people to live independently and safely within their communities.
