What the inspectors found
Inspectors highlighted a number of strengths across Adult Social Care services in Sandwell, including:
- Strong partnership working with local organisations and community groups
- Effective safeguarding arrangements to help protect people from abuse or neglect
- Clear governance and leadership, with visible and transparent management
- Services designed to promote independence and prevent, delay or reduce the need for care
- A wide range of local support options available to residents
The report also recognised that staff were committed and passionate about supporting people, with some residents describing staff as “genuine” and focused on making a positive difference in people’s lives.
