Car parks in Sandwell

Parking charges are suspended in Sandwell Council town centre car parks from 31 March until 30 June 2020.
Drivers are being asked to continue to park safely and appropriately, and to observe bay markings. The suspension of parking charges applies to town centre cars parks run by Sandwell Council and does not include Sandwell Valley car parks or on-street parking bays.
All other parking conditions including charges for on-street parking bays will still apply. Parking will continue to be monitored and vehicles parked in contravention of the normal requirements for the safe and efficient use of car parks will still receive Penalty Charge Notices.

We manage a number of car parks around Sandwell. Some are free to park in, some are pay and display.

Charges apply on pay and display car parks from 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, including bank holidays and other public holidays.

Here is a list of car parks for each of the town shopping areas:

You can buy a monthly or annual parking permit which may save you money if you park regularly in certain pay and display car parks or streets.

You can also pay for your parking using the PayByPhone app which is available for use on Apple and Android devices. Download the app.
