A family-run facilities management company are looking to recruit a highly skilled, versatile tradesperson to join our growing team. Working across void properties refurbishments in the social housing and private rental sectors, this role requires a hands-on, professional, confident outlook in a range of trades — capable of taking ownership of tasks and helping guide the team on-site.
Required Experience & Skills:
Proven experience across multiple trades: welding, electrics, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, or painting.Comfortable using a wide range of hand tools and power tools
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to plan tasks, manage workload, and meet project deadlines
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
A proactive, dependable work ethic with good communication
Ability to manage workload independently and assist others
Experience in roofing is a bonus but not essential

Voluntary role
Hours: variable (approximately 20 hours per-year)If you are looking to gain some invaluable experience in things like planning, budgets, problem solving and data, being a school governor is a great way to boost your career prospects and give something back to your community.
School governors are volunteers from all backgrounds and walks of life.  They meet regularly (usually outside of school hours) to monitor how a school is using its resources and meeting its objectives and provide a good education for pupils.  

You don’t need to have a teaching or education background to be governor. Training is available to help you understand your role and responsibilities.

There are opportunities across Sandwell and volunteers are matched to schools based on their preferences.

Part-Time Home Care Assistant
Location: Sandwell

Homecare Assistants required to help people in Sandwell to live independently in their own homes. Experience is not necessary, as training is provided.
Must have a UK driving licence and own car. As you will be travelling to peoples homes providing personal care. Which will involve washing, dressing and toileting the service users. Preparing meals, administering medication, some light domestic duties and documenting interventions.

Support workers are needed to work full time providing personal care to service users. Must have working care experience with adults and be able to work shifts.  You need to have good verbal and written communication skills, be patient and resilient. You will provide personal care, help service users to take part in leisure activities, undertake a range of domestic duties, administer medication and document care plans.
