Training delivery is offered across a range of audiences and subjects, including:

  • Transition across all Key Stages

  • A range of school improvement support packages based around the core offer

This is not an exhaustive list of services available. The core offer consists of the following:

Universal offer to LA Maintained Schools as a minimum. Universal offer to LA maintained schools with support level of C, D, E, F or G or specific area of vulnerability. Support Level C includes additional support for new heads. Universal offer to LA maintained schools causing concern.
Advice to schools on day-to-day issues. Each school has a named contact with a direct telephone number. Additional support visits (between 3–9 additional days per year on top of core visits) School Improvement Group (SIG) meetings
Providing schools with focused visit notes ensuring areas for development are specifically communicated. Staff training and meetings TASK group meetings
Attendance at learning community meetings to provide headteachers with educational updates. Whole school support QuSPE
Supporting schools when dealing with complaints via OFSTED and DFE. Safeguarding support  
Working with schools on safeguarding practices. Behaviour support  
Reviewing the school’s quality of education to help them improve standards. Attendance support  
Undertaking statutory duties such as monitoring the administration of KS2 tests. Support to enhance personal development offer  
Supporting governors with headteacher appointments. Vocational subject support  
Evaluating the strengths of schools and reviewing their capabilities at the end of each term, focusing on elements of the Ofsted framework. Sixth Form support  
Facilitating additional support for schools who might have challenges. In depth audits of all areas (e.g. safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, finance, governance, HR)  
Supporting transition between phases.
