Connect to Work Supported Employment Programme
What is the Connect to Work Supported Employment programme?
Connect to Work is funded by the UK Government and is a 12-month, voluntary employment programme for people age 18-24 with disabilities, long-term health conditions and those with more complex barriers to finding paid employment.
Connect to Work is available for unemployed people who need support to find paid work, and employed people who are at risk of losing their job due to their disability.
What are the benefits of participating in Connect to Work?
- Tailored and individualised support from a specialist employment adviser who will work closely with you to find out what you want to achieve and agree a plan for getting there.
- A benefits calculation to ensure that working will leave you financially better off.
- Employers will be contacted on your behalf to talk to them about opportunities for you to work in their business or to understand the barriers that are putting you at risk of losing your job.
- We will find vacancies that meet your employment goals and ensure they are a good match.
