Are you a business interested in taking on an apprentice or employing staff?

The council's Employment and Skills team- Think Sandwell can provide a complete package of tailored support to guide you through the entire recruitment process at no cost to your company.

We will discuss your specific requirements with you and will assist in the preparation of job descriptions, vacancy advertisements and interviews.

Assisting employers

Whether you are taking on staff for the first time or looking to grow your existing team Think Sandwell are on hand to help. 

We offer support through every step of the recruitment process, and can even help to source suitable training to upskill your staff either once in post or as part of a package of 'pre employment training'. 

Apprenticeships

Think Sandwell is passionate about apprenticeships. They give people a boost in their early careers, and help to upskill businesses. That’s why we offer expert advice and support all the way through the apprenticeship process, as well as helping to identify available funding and grants. We’ll even take care of the paperwork for you. We will work with you and your employee throughout the apprenticeship to make sure that everything goes smoothly.
