Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) - 2016
The Council has prepared a new document which will help local residents by setting out how to become more involved in the planning system. The Statement details the opportunities for communities to be involved at different stages in the planning process.
Sandwell Council adopted the revised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) in July 2016. It replaces the previous, Statement of Community Involvement 2007.
The adoption documents including modifications made are as follows:

- Adoption Statement (July 2016)
Copies of this Adoption Statement, the Consultation Statement and Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) are available for public inspection, during normal office hours at:
- The Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, West Midlands, B69 3DE
- At all main Sandwell libraries.
There is currently a Draft Statement of Community Involvement - 2022, which is out for consultation between Monday 9th May 2022 and Sunday 19th June 2022
