There are also a number of organisations that provide specific services to support the LGBTQ+ community, some of which are listed below. If you have experience with another organisation or you would like to add your own, please let us know. Email us with suggestions of additional agencies.
Ask Marc offers independent, confidential advice and support to help men affected by domestic abuse, stalking and rape and sexual violence to be safer, make choices, and move forward with their lives.
Birmingham LGBT offer a range of services and activities for the LGBT Community in Birmingham and beyond. Including sexual health, events, domestic violence, counselling, support, fitness, arts and more.
Black Country Mental Health 24/7 Helpline
If you need help with your mental health or you are struggling to cope, the Black Country 24/7 helpline will help you. You don’t need to be referred by your GP or other health professionals, you can just reach out for help when you need it.
Black Country Women's Aid
Black Country Women’s Aid is a charity that supports survivors of abuse and exploitation. They also offer advice and support for domestic abuse, stalking, harassment, sexual violence or abuse and more.
FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity dedicated to supporting parents and families and their LGBT+ members.
Gendered Intelligence is a trans-led charity who work with the trans community and those who impact on trans lives; they particularly specialise in supporting young trans people.
LGBT Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy Service (ISVA)
ISVA offers practical and emotional support if you have experienced rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse either recently or in the past.
Mermaids supports transgender, non-binary and gender-diverse children and young people, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care.
Proud Baggies is the Official West Bromwich Albion Supporters' Group for all LGBTQ+ fans, their families, friends and allies. Membership is free and open to all.

Help for young LGBT+ people who need support with coming out, exploring identity, faith and religion and staying safe.
Healthy Sandwell offer a range of sexual health services to help you stay in control of your body and keep you feeling great, both at clinics across the borough and even from the comfort of your own home. They can help with free contraception and testing, including test-from-home kits.
Sol Cafe is an LGBTIQ+ pay as you feel grassroots cafe in Birmingham where everyone is welcome regardless of their situation. Every week they offer different creative workshops to help you make friends, socialise and learn new skills.
Terence Higgins Trust
Terrence Higgins Trust is the leading and largest HIV and sexual health charity in the UK. Their advisers can provide emotional support if you are worried about your sexual health or have concerns about living with HIV. We can help you access services local to you across the UK, whether provided by us or by someone else.
