As well as by paying by direct debit and paying online we offer a variety of alternative ways to pay your council Council Tax.
Paying by telephone
You can pay by credit or debit card by calling us on 0300 456 0514.
Paying in person
You can pay by cash, cheque, credit or debit card at one of our cash counters.
You can also pay by cash at the Post Office. Please make sure you have your council tax bill with you.
Please note: At present, no single cash transaction (including notes, coin or travellers cheques in any currency) exceeding £2,000 will be accepted for any council service in any one financial year. Cash exceeding this limit will not be accepted. Any person wishing to make a payment in excess of this limit, will need to seek an alternative method of payment.
Paying by BACS
You can pay by BACS transfer by using the bank details below. Please make sure to include your Council Tax account number as the payment reference.

Paying by standing order
With a standing order, you tell your bank or building society to pay a set amount at regular times to another account. You'll need to contact your bank or building society to set up a standing order to pay your Council Tax.
