3 x Creative and Digital Content Officers

If you have a talent for storytelling, it’s an exciting time to join Sandwell Council.

We have set our ambition to become an outstanding council, and the Communications team is a key strategic service that will help lead the change required to make this ambition a reality.

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to create content that will help ensure we reach our audiences in the right way to connect them to services, drive behaviour change and boost trust in the council.

From filming videos to writing stories for newsletters, you’ll be planning and creating content for our external and internal communications channels.

Every day will be different as you engage widely with residents, councillors, and partners to gain insight and create content that will resonate and have real impact.

From our work to support vulnerable children and adults, to our investment in the parks and green spaces that make our residents proud to call Sandwell home, you’ll be working across all areas of the council, helping to tell the story of the difference our services make to improve the lives of our residents.

You’ll also be tailoring content for different channels - ranging from our e-newsletters to our soon-to-be launched TikTok channel – making sure we target and reach different audiences in the right way to engage them.
