Adult Social Care Vision

The right support, at the right time and the right place, to maximise independence and empower people to remain safe and healthy

Our vision comes from the Sandwell Adult Social Care Strategy. It was developed by Adult Social Care staff and the people who use our services.

It has three main aims to help people live longer, healthier lives and need less help from care services.

1. Prevent

We help people before problems start.
This means stopping people from becoming ill or needing extra care where possible.

2. Independence and Recovery

We help people get better after illness or injury.
This supports people to do things for themselves again.

3. Care

We support people who need long-term help.
Care is given with kindness, respect, and dignity.

How We Will Do This

We are working to improve and change how we deliver services.
