Who we are and what we do
The STAR service is FREE of charge and provides assessment, care and short-term support for adults in Sandwell.
How does it work?
We provide assessment and reablement for a period for up to 6 weeks to maximise someone's independence and enable them to live at home in the community.
STAR can support individuals to get discharged from hospital quickly, support individuals to avoid hospital admission, support individuals and their carers in crisis situations, and support people to regain and maintain their independence.
