Spring activities and events at Haden Hill House. 

General visitor information for visiting Haden Hill House

Our sites are closed to general visitors from January until March 30th for our winter deep clean, maintenance, painting, planning and redisplay. We do have a number of activities to banish the winter blues during our closed period including activities for school holidays, early years (TAM - tots in museums)  and AIM (adults in museums).

Our big spring event is back in 2024! Fabulous 40s - 6 May, 12pm-4pm. Entry Free. Our fabulous 40s event will be returning again this year for early May bank holiday with live music, entertainment, Punch and Judy and costumed characters. Entry Free

Eggcellent Easter activities: 27 & 28 March 11am-3pm. Join us for some Easter crafts & trails. Just drop in, there will be a small charge for some activities.

Easter Family Fun. 1 April 12noon-4pm, Easter games, trails and egg hunts for all the family, children’s entertainer Ron Popple will be here too

Springtime at Haden Hill: 4 & 5 April 11am-3pm. Crafts & trails inspired by the wildlife in Haden Hill Park. There will be a small charge for crafts.

Tiddalik the Greedy Frog. (SEND activity) An interactive performance for children and young people with Additional Needs and siblings from Fantastic Journeys. 6 April Performances at 2pm and 3.30pm. All children should be accompanied by their carer. Tickets £5, limited number of free tickets for siblings. Please book at Ticketsource

MIM – Music in Museums. 21 April 2.30pm-4.30pm. A relaxed afternoon of music in the elegant setting of Haden Hill House Museum. No need to book but please be aware that places are limited. Free entry.

The Fabulous 40s: Monday 6 May, 12pm-4pm. Join us once again for our annual & popular 1940s wartime event, with costumed characters, live music, vehicles, Punch and Judy show and more. entrance is free, no need to book. Please note parking is at a premium so please park responsibility & considerately to our local residents.

May Half Term Activities. 30 & 31 May 11am-3pm. Join us for some fun crafts & trails. There will be a charge for some activities
