Missed bin collections November 2019

We are experiencing a number of missed bin collections throughout the borough.

This is due to unofficial industrial action being undertaken by some members of staff in response to a recent rescheduling of collection rounds.

Whilst this action is not being undertaken by all collection crews, we would ask residents whose bins are not emptied on their scheduled collection day to leave their bins at their normal collection point. We will get these bins collected as soon as possible.  

Sandwell Council and our waste partner Serco will continue to work together to resolve this matter and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to our residents.

Missed collections at other times

If you've put your bins out on the right day and at the right time (by 6.45am) and they haven't been collected, you can report it here.

You must fill this form in within two working days of your collection being missed.

Please note, if there is a sticker on your bin you should not use this form. Please read the advice on the sticker and make these changes when you next put your bin out.

Report a missed bin collection

Please remember - we will not empty bins that are overflowing and we do not take black bags or other waste left at the side of the bin.

All rubbish or recycling must be in the correct bin with the bin lid closed.
