What are your legal options?

You can take legal action to stop domestic abuse or to prevent it from happening again. This includes things like injunctions and orders to protect children. The word 'injunction' describes any court order that stops someone from acting in a certain way.

Sandwell Women's Aid offer a free initial appointment for legal advice to victims of domestic abuse. They work with solicitors who are experienced in family, crime and immigration law.

Appointments are available every Tuesday at their office in West Bromwich between 10am and 3pm. Please call 0121 552 6448 to book an appointment.
