BID ballot
The BID company will notify Sandwell Council of the area of Sandwell they are interested in creating a BID for.
The BID company will ballot the local business rates payers to see if they are interested in paying a BID levy. As long as more than 50% of ratepayers vote ‘yes’, the BID can go ahead and even those who may have voted ‘no’ are liable to pay the BID levy.
