We are pleased to share that  Adult Social Care in Sandwell have been rated ‘Good’ following an assessment by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The inspection took place in August 2025 as part of the CQC’s programme to assess how well local authorities deliver their duties under the Care Act and support people who need care and support in their communities.

The assessment considers how councils work with people, carers, partners and providers to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care. It also reviews leadership, governance and how councils plan and improve services.

The report, published in March 2026, found that Adult Social Care in Sandwell is delivering a good standard of support for residents, recognising the commitment of staff and the positive experiences shared by people who use services.
