Kim Madill

West Midlands Police Representative
Chief Superintendent Kim Madill is the borough commander for Sandwell Local Policing Area, having taken the position in July 2023 following her leadership of a major programme to implement a new operating model for the West Midlands Police.
With 27 years of experience in policing, Kim has held a wide range of roles across the force, including Public Protection, Intelligence and Business Change. Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to modern, community-focused policing.
Kim is currently the strategic lead for Serious Youth Violence Reduction, working closely with the West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership to deliver a coordinated strategy to keep young people safe. She previously held the community engagement portfolio, championing active citizenship and launching a strengths-based engagement approach through bespoke training for West Midlands Police PCSOs.
She also continues to lead on Trauma-Informed Policing within the force, embedding practices that recognise and respond to the impact of trauma in individuals and communities.
Kim said, "I am passionate about prevention, neighbourhood policing and working in partnership with otheers to deliver the best possible services to out communities."
