Our Board is here to work with you — not just for you. Whether you’re a resident, business owner, community leader, or young person, your ideas and experiences are essential to shaping Smethwick’s future.
Engagement and public consultation to date
So far, we’ve heard from the community through a wide range of activities, including:
- Online survey with over 1,400 responses
- Eight community workshops attended by more than 150 residents
- Business breakfast event with over 20 local business representatives
- Direct engagement with Smethwick community groups and local businesses
- Outreach to care homes and GP practices
- Visits to local faith groups
- Youth engagement through detached youth work
- Drop-in sessions at libraries, Warley Woods, and the Council One Stop Shop
- Attendance at local events to promote the programme, online survey, and workshops

There are different ways to have your say throughout the year, including:

- Opportunities to suggest and co-design local projects
