Zahir has lived in Smethwick his whole life and has worked closely with grassroots organisations across the area, supporting the delivery of vital community services. His deep local knowledge and long-standing commitment to the town underpin his role on the Board.
As Vice-Chair of Trustees at the Abrahamic Foundation, Zahir plays a key role in shaping and delivering support for residents in Smethwick.
Zahir said, “I’ve always been passionate about seeing my local area thrive and my involvement as Vice-Chair of trustees at the Abrahamic Foundation has enabled me to play a key role in facilitating the delivery of key services for Smethwick residents. I joined this board so that I could have a positive impact and I am very proud to represent Smethwick for this regeneration programme."
