Peter has deep roots in Tividale, having grown up in the area and served the community for more than 53 years as both a volunteer and a local church minister. Throughout this time, he has been involved in a wide range of community projects, programmes, and groups, developing a strong understanding of the area's strengths, challenges, and aspirations.
Before retirement, Peter built a career in education as a teacher and lecturer, helping to support and develop learners across different stages of life. Today, he enjoys reading about history and the social sciences, spending time with his grandchildren, painting, and continuing to play an active role in community life. He is also a hopeful West Bromwich Albion supporter.
Peter believes that the Tividale Pride in Place programme presents a significant opportunity to bring people together and create lasting positive change. Passionate about the future of the area, he sees the recent investment in Tividale as a unique chance to improve the local environment, enhance quality of life, create new opportunities, and help build a brighter future for the next generation.
