A message from Peter, Chair of the Tividale Neighbourhood Board

"Tividale is a community with great strengths and potential. As a Board, we are proud to bring together local knowledge, experience and ambition to help shape a positive future for the area.

"We look forward to working alongside residents and partners to deliver meaningful improvements and lasting benefits for our community."

Why the Board was established

The Tividale Neighbourhood Board was established as part of the Government's Pride in Place programme, to provide strong local leadership and help deliver the long-term vision for Tividale.

Guided by our mission of bringing local people together to drive positive change, create opportunities and improve outcomes for the people of Tividale, our Board works to ensure local voices are at the heart of decision-making and investment in the area.

Together, transforming Tividale is more than our tagline. It reflects our commitment to working collaboratively with residents, community groups, businesses, partners and stakeholders to create a thriving neighbourhood where people can live, work and succeed.

Our Board brings together people with a range of skills, experiences and local knowledge, ensuring that decisions are informed by those who understand the community and its priorities best.

How the Board works

Our Board is chaired by Peter Hayward, Trustee at Oakham Church, who provides leadership and helps ensure our work remains focused on delivering positive outcomes for Tividale and its residents.

Board members volunteer their time, expertise and local insight to support the neighbourhood's development and future ambitions. We are committed to working openly, collaboratively and in the best interests of the community.

The Board meets regularly throughout the year to review progress, discuss priorities and make decisions that support the delivery of local projects and initiatives. While meetings are not open to the public, we are committed to transparency and will publish key information, updates and important documents through this website so residents can stay informed about our work.
