Sarah Coombes
MP for West Bromwich
Sarah Coombes was elected as the Labour Party Member of Parliament in July 2024 for the West Bromwich constituency. She lives in West Bromwich and is committed to championing the interests of local people across West Bromwich, Oldbury, Great Barr, Yew Tree, Tividale and Rowley. Since her election, she has worked closely with residents, businesses and community organisations to help deliver positive change for West Bromwich and the wider Black Country.
Sarah is a Private Parliamentary Secretary to the Home Secretary and has served as a member of the House of Commons Modernisation Committee.
She studied History and Politics at Jesus College, Oxford, graduating in 2013. Prior to being elected as an MP, Sarah worked as a Head of Policy and Communications, served as an adviser to the Mayor of London, and worked for an environmental charity.
