Christy Carmichael

Christy Carmichael

Resident

Christy lives within the local community and is a proud resident of the area. She was keen to become involved in the Tividale Pride in Place Programme to help champion the community, support local initiatives, and play an active role in delivering positive change for residents.

In addition to her community involvement, Christy is a Civil Servant working locally in Sandwell. Through her role, she engages with a wide range of people and issues, giving her valuable insight into the challenges, aspirations, and needs of local residents. This broader understanding helps her bring a practical and informed perspective to discussions about community development and improvement.

Prior to her career in the Civil Service, Christy completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate legal studies before gaining experience working for several law firms across the local area. This professional background has equipped her with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for fairness, advocacy, and empowering others. She is committed to helping local people access opportunities, have their voices heard, and reach their full potential.

Through her involvement in the Tividale Pride in Place Programme, Christy hopes to contribute to meaningful projects that strengthen community connections, enhance local pride, and create lasting benefits for residents.
