Tracy Lowe MBE

Tracy Lowe MBE

Wallace Youth Project and GM2LF Charity

Tracy has lived in Tividale Ward all her life and is passionate about supporting and improving her local community. She has successfully run her own business, Memories Greeting Cards & Balloons, for the past 16 years, building strong connections with local residents through her market-based business.

After achieving a Level 3 qualification in Youth and Community Work, Tracy dedicated herself to supporting young people and families through voluntary work. In 1994, she founded the Wallace Youth Project, which she continues to lead today, helping to create opportunities and positive outcomes for young people across the area.

Tracy has also played a key role in community development through the One Million Big Local programme, serving as a board member, secretary, and chair, and now chairs its legacy organisation, GM2LF Charity. She is a strong advocate for community-led action and believes that bringing people together is essential to creating lasting positive change.

In recognition of her contributions, Tracy was awarded an MBE in 2025 for services to young people and the community. The Wallace Youth Project also received the King’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2024, reflecting the impact of its work and Tracy’s longstanding commitment to making Tividale a better place for all.
