Easter Bank Holiday Closure – Important Information About Your Rent Payments. 

To ensure your rent payment is showing on your rent account by the end of the financial year, you need to pay by the following dates: 

Monday 30 March 2026 - 
for payments made using Pay Point, PayPal and Post Office

Thursday 2 April 2026 (before 6pm) - for payments made using Card payments (online or automated phone line), Cash payments.

If you are a Council tenant, the rent you pay covers the cost of providing your home and other services such as repairs and maintenance. Your rent is an important part of your tenancy and paying it should be a priority as it keeps you and your family in a safe and secure home. In line with your Tenancy Conditions, you should pay your rent on time and in advance to prevent you from falling into arrears

Access your rent account online 

To use MyAccounts, you must first create and sign in to a MySandwell account. MyAccounts can only be accessed through MySandwell.

Your MyAccounts gives you 24/7 access to your rent account. Once logged in, you can make payments, set up a Direct Debit, download rent statements and find useful support links, including benefit advice, money guidance and employment support.

Registration is free and simple - you will just need your surname, account number and date of birth. After signing in to MySandwell, select ‘MyAccounts’ and register your rent account.
