We are committed to working with our tenants to help solve damp, mould and condensation issues in their homes.

If you are a council tenant struggling with damp, mould or condensation, there is help available. Do not struggle in silence if your home has damp and mould issues. Please contact the housing team so we can make any necessary repairs.

We will also help you to prevent damp and mould problems in the future and, if you are eligible, help you to access funding that will keep your home warmer and damp-free.

If you think your home has an issue causing damp and mould such as a structural problem, a leak or something else that needs repairing, please report it to us as soon as possible so we can help resolve this.

If you are not sure what is causing your damp and mould issues, please log a repair with us so we can come and look at the problem.

You can also report your repair by phone on 0121 569 6000, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5.30pm.

Regulator of Social Housing  - damp and mould

In November 2022 the Regulator of Social Housing wrote to social housing providers requesting assurance on addressing risks relating to damp and mould in tenants’ homes.

As not all of our homes met the relevant standard, we were required to self-refer ourselves to the Regulator of Social Housing.
Our self-referral letter to the Regulator of Social Housing is available to view
