What kind of projects can be funded?
We are looking for community-focused projects that make a visible and positive difference. Funding can support:
- Improvements to community spaces, parks and greenspace
- Equipment, furniture, or tools
- Refurbishment projects
- Activities, events, workshops, and training
- Projects that bring people together
- Outreach and engagement work
This is not an exhaustive list.
All costs must be directly linked to delivering your project.

Pride in Place investment themes
Projects must align with one or more pre-approved investment themes set by the Government:
- Regeneration, High Streets and Heritage
- Housing
- Works, Productivity and Skills
- Cohesion
- Health and Wellbeing
- Transport
- Safety and Security
- Education and Opportunity
- Community Power

Top 5 investment themes
While applications addressing any investment theme are welcome, priority will be given to projects aligned with the top five themes identified through the engagement process, during the first four years of the programme. These are:
- Regeneration, High Streets and Heritage
- Cohesion
- Health and Wellbeing
- Safety and Security
- Education and Opportunity
