We will send you an acknowledgement text message/email for each repair reported providing we have your correct contact details registered as a form of contact. We will remind you via text message 7 days, 24 hours, on the day of the appointment and whilst on our way prior to your appointment.

When booking an appointment, you will be offered the following slots to suit your convenience

  • All DAY (08:00 - 5.30)
  • MORNING (08:00 - 1:00)
  • AVOID SCHOOL RUN (10:00 - 2:00)
  • AFTERNOON (12:00 - 5.30)

A unique passcode can be registered; this can be used in all correspondence with regards to the job. If you do not supply a password the job number can be used. Please check these details match to ensure the caller is a Sandwell Council employee you can also call 0121 569 6000 to confirm the identity of the employee.

If you have raised a job via MySandwell you can amend the appointment up to 24 hours prior to the appointment date.
If you need to amend the appointment within the 24 hours of us attending, please call the contact centre on 0121 569 6000 and we can amend it for you. 

Once an appointment has been made for you, it is important that you are in when we call.

If you fail to contact us your repair will be cancelled.

Everyone who works for, or on behalf of Sandwell Council carries an identity card. You should insist that you are shown one before allowing anyone to enter your home.

If you are in doubt about the identity of a caller do not let them in. Take their ID; ask them to wait; shut the door; then call 0121 569 6000 and make sure they are who they say they are.
