Alicia Corpe: Education Advisor
Alicia is an experienced senior leader in the primary and maintained nursery school sectors as well as a qualified SENDCo and early years teacher. With this wide experience, comes an understanding of the unique challenges the early years sector faces and the impact this has on schools. Alicia has 10 years experience as lead DSL within schools in areas of deprivation.
During her career, Alicia has a consistent track record of developing inclusive practices, improving systems within schools and curriculum design, whilst always keeping the children at the heart of any decisions made. She has a collaborative and solution focused approach to her work with schools and early years settings.
Alicia is passionate about improving early years provision, with a particular focus on adapting curricula for all children with barriers to learning and works closely with the Early Years Team and ILS to support schools in Sandwell.
